Perform internal and external audit services for international banks.

Conduct and review audit tests in Accounting, BSA-AML, Lending, BCP, Trade Finance, Risk Management, Treasury and Special Asset Management.

Conduct audit engagements by identifying significant risks, designing appropriate audit procedures, executing and evaluating judgement intensive testing.

Draft management comments, internal control observations and sections of audit reports for management and partner review.

Perform and evaluate audit procedures on complex areas such as revenue recognition, estimates and accruals, fixed assets and inventory, applying professional judgement to assess sufficiency of audit evidence.

Perform analytical review procedures including trend and ratio analysis, and investigate material variances to support conclusions.

Review and finalize junior staff workpapers for accuracy and completeness and compliance with firm methodology, and professional standards.

Communicate audit requests, deficiencies, and preliminary findings directly with client accounting personnel and escalate significant matters to engagement managers.

Coordinate fieldwork schedules and monitor engagement progress to meet deadlines and provide guidance and on-the-job coaching to new associates.

Travel to clients in Manhattan on a daily basis to perform accounting and audit services.

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting or Finance with 1 year of experience.

Demonstrated experience or training in internal and external audit requirements, US GAAP, IFRS, SEC regulations, risk assessment, financial analysis and reporting, Excel advanced functions, RIA Checkpoint, and QuickBooks.
